Capital Corporation Appoints Programmed Turnpoint to Build $1 Billion Hunter Valley Golf Course - golfindustrycentral.com.au
Capital Corporation has selected specialist contractor Programmed Turnpoint to construct an 18-hole championship golf course at its $1 billion Lovedale Farm development in the Hunter Valley, New South Wales. The course will form the centrepiece of a 240-hectare residential, resort, and golf community located on Wine Country Drive.
Programmed Turnpoint has built over 17 golf courses across Australia and international markets. Its portfolio includes Cape Wickham on King Island, Tasmania — ranked second in Golf Australia Magazine’s 2026 Top 100 courses list — and Magenta Shores on the NSW Central Coast. The firm is also completing construction on The Cliffs, a $20 million golf destination on Kangaroo Island in South Australia scheduled to open this year.
More than half of the 240-hectare Lovedale Farm site will be set aside for golf fairways, bushland, parks, and water features. Course construction is scheduled for completion in late 2028, aligning with the delivery of the first 200 homes in Stage 1. Capital Corporation has secured sales for 85 percent of the initial residential land release.

Project Leadership and Expertise
Established in 2002, Programmed Turnpoint employs more than 100 staff members across 13 sites and maintains over 12 golf courses nationwide. Its internal team includes golf architects, construction managers, course shapers, agronomists, and irrigation specialists, enabling the company to oversee initial earthworks through to grow-in and long-term maintenance.
The Lovedale Farm project will be led by Justin Trott, President of the Society of Australian Golf Course Architects. Trott joined Turnpoint in 2011 after 16 years as a Design Associate with Thomson Wolveridge & Perrett, where he worked on projects such as Moonah Links, The National Golf Club, and Hamilton Island.

Community Features and Real Estate Details
Lovedale Farm is designed as both a residential community and a tourism destination within the Hunter Valley region. The completed development will feature:
- 500 residential lots
- A 300-key resort and day spa
- A new dining precinct
- A 1,200-square-metre clubhouse designed by H&E Architects
The clubhouse will sit adjacent to the course as the central social facility for residents, golf members, and visitors.
Pricing for residential land at Lovedale Farm currently starts at $667,800 for a 504-square-metre block, while house and land packages begin at $1.187 million.
