Programmed Turnpoint confirmed for new Hunter championship course - Hunter Business Review Mag
Capital Corporation has appointed Programmed Turnpoint to construct the championship 18-hole golf course at Lovedale Farm, the 240-hectare residential, resort and golf development on Wine Country Drive in the Hunter Valley. The course sits at the heart of the master-planned community, with more than half of the site retained as fairways, bushland, parks and water features.
Founded in 2002, Programmed Turnpoint has built more than 17 golf courses across Australia and overseas and currently maintains more than 12 courses nationally. The business employs more than 100 staff across 13 sites, and brings golf architects, construction managers, golf course shapers, agronomists and irrigation specialists to every project it delivers, from initial earthworks through to grow-in and ongoing course maintenance.
Among Programmed Turnpoint's notable projects are The Cliffs on Kangaroo Island, South Australia, the $20 million destination golf course set to open this year, Magenta Shores on the NSW Central Coast, regularly rated among Australia's top 50 courses since opening in 2006, and Cape Wickham on King Island, Tasmania, which ranked No.2 in Golf Australia Magazine’s Top 100 Golf Courses in Australia 2026 ranking.
Lovedale Farm’s golf course is set for completion in late 2028, alongside the first 200 homes in Stage 1. With 85% of the first release already sold, momentum continues to build across the development.

Lovedale Farm will comprise 500 residential lots, a 300-key resort and day spa, a dining precinct and a world-class 18-hole championship golf course. H&E Architects has been appointed to design the project's 1,200 square metre clubhouse, which will sit alongside the course as the social heart of the community.
